    The Data Analysts work to collect, organize, clean, and analyze business data to support decision-making. This role will be responsible for preparing datasets, ensuring data quality, and developing visualizations and reports for stakeholders. Data Analysts collaborate with end users to understand data needs and translate business requirements into actionable insights. The Data Analyst should have proficiency in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports for a variety of stakeholders and should be able to maintain data accuracy and integrity within the BI systems. They should be able to add to and maintain data structures. This role will be an integral part of the HPM Data and Analytics initiatives and should have the ability to analyze datasets to uncover trends and insights. This position provides direct analytical support to the Sr. Business Analytics Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    + Collect, organize, sanitize, and validate data from multiple sources.

    + Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Power BI (and other tools as required.

    + Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

    + Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

    + Collaborate with internal and external clients to understand data needs and deliver solutions; translates business requirements into technical specifications.

    + Document data processes and maintain data dictionaries.

    + Manage data and analytics initiatives to ensure they are completed on time and in budget. Maintain project tasks and updates in our project tracking software.

    + Act as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for data and analytics platforms, assisting users and coordinating with IT as needed.

    + Adhere to data governance, privacy, and security standards in all data handling activities

    + Effectively communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders

    Education Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree in business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.

    Preferred Experience

    + 2+ years’ experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a related field.

    + Proficiency in Power Query, DAX, SQL, and data modeling techniques.

    + Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Clear communication skills in all formats (written, spoken, social media, public presentations, etc.) on behalf of HPM.

    + Remote or Hybrid working options may be available

    Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

     

    Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
