    Patten CAT (West Branch, IA)


    Working Hours/Days

     

    8:00am to 5:00 pm Monday – Friday. Must be able to work Saturdays on a rotation schedule and to work extended hours during peak seasons.

    Basic Duties

    + Responsible for shipping/receiving parts.

    + Load and unload trucks, operate forklift.

    + Responsible for keeping track of inventory storage.

    + Order picking activities- pick parts orders and stock new inventory that comes in for Parts Department.

    + Assemble hydraulic hoses.

    + Responsible for general housekeeping of the warehouse.

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

    + 1-2 years of previous Warehouse experience preferred.

    + Computer literate required. Familiar with programs such as UPS Worldship for shipping & receiving, Microsoft, Excel and Outlook preferred but not required.

    + Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment when entering the shop or warehouse.

    + Excellent planning & organizational skills required

    + Must be a self-starter, team oriented and commitment to detail

    + Strong attendance record is required.

    + Forklift experience is needed and customer service oriented.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.

    + Must be able to lift up to 75-100lbs.

    + Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

    Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

     

    This position works in a warehouse environment. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75-100lbs. May be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields) when needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. May intermittently sit at a desk for a long period of time to answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through email. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Occasional local travel may be required.
