Job Description
We are looking to hire a Data Engineer to join our project! We need someone who has strong hands-on experience in building data pipelines and infrastructure in AWS. Ideally, we’re aiming for someone with a blend of skills: approximately 70% AWS engineering and 30% data analytics. They are just rolling out AWS and need someone who can support this. They will be supporting the Systems Inspections organization and working in a fast paced environment.

Skills and Requirements
• Experience building AWS infrastructure from the ground up.
• Hands-on experience setting up infrastructure using Terraform and Terraform Cloud (must).
• Experience configuring and deploying Lambda functions.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services: SES, EventBridge, CodeBuild, IAM, CloudWatch, S3.
• Experience setting up and managing EC2 instances.
• Experience setting up and managing databases such as Amazon Redshift and Amazon RDS.
• Understanding of VPC, subnets, and security groups for network configuration.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and warehousing.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data tasks.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments like startups, retail, or airports
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
