• Cybersecurity Specialist TSSCI w/ Poly

    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a TSSCI w/ Poly Cybersecurity Specialist to support a large client of ours out of Springfield, VA. This position will be 100% onsite.

    Responsibilities:

    Serve as the primary on-site cybersecurity subject matter expert for several complex DoD physical security systems.

     

    Manage the full RMF lifecycle, including preparation and submission for Authority to Operate (ATO) using Xacta360.

     

    Oversee vulnerability mitigation and continuous monitoring to ensure ongoing compliance.

     

    Apply DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), providing compliance guidance to system administrators via STIG Viewer and SCAP tool.

     

    Identify and implement applicable NIST 800-53 security controls, addressing gaps and correcting deficiencies.

     

    Advise system administrators on security control implementation and required configurations.

     

    Review and update security documentation, including SOPs, policies, procedures, incident response plans, and NIST control family implementation plans.

     

    Track and maintain Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) items, recommending solutions or documenting risk acceptance as appropriate.

     

    Assess and document security impacts of system changes, obtaining necessary approvals.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    TSSCI with CI Poly

     

    Ability to be onsite 5 days a week in Springfield VA

     

    Experience with Xacta tool

     

    5-7 years in Cybersecurity field

     

    Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of experience of Masters with 5+ years.

     

    Experience maintaining an ATO and adhering to compliance standards

     

    Familiar with NIST 800-53 security controls and guidelines
