• DevOps Engineer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support one of our leading home solutions clients. This role will focus on implementing and managing DevOps practices within Microsoft Azure, with a strong emphasis on automation, pipeline consistency, and infrastructure as code.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including YAML configurations.

    • Administer Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure secure and compliant access across environments.

    • Manage Azure DevOps Projects, Repos, and enforce branching policies to support scalable development workflows.

    • Develop and maintain YAML templates integrating:

     

    o PowerShell commands

     

    o nUnit unit tests

    o SonarCloud for code quality evaluation

    • Utilize Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning and automation.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to consolidate pipelines and standardize DevOps practices.

    • Support Salesforce DevOps through tools like Flosum.

    • Ensure application performance, availability, and scalability in Azure environments.

    • Stay current with Azure and DevOps trends, driving innovation and adoption of new tools.

     

    Pay rate: 45-60/hr

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Azure cloud services.

     

    - Strong understanding of RBAC, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code principles.

     

    - Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell.

     

    - Experience with Terraform, including module creation and backend configuration.

     

    - Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., nUnit) and code quality tools (e.g., SonarCloud).

     

    - Solid grasp of branching strategies, Git workflows, and repository management.

     

    - Knowledge of YAML syntax and pipeline configuration.

     

    - Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab is a plus - Terraform
