The Electronic Systems (ES) Sector s International Business Development function is seeking a Business Development Director in support of Campaign Strategy for international pursuits. This position will be based out of Nashua New Hampshire and will support international captures across all ES Business Areas. This position will update or develop international capture training curriculum for ES, provide training to Capture Teams across the Sector, develop tailored international capture strategies for specifically identified pursuits, and provide Business Winning support to Business Area teams on international pursuits. The ideal candidate will have an applied background in International Business Development, Capture Team leadership, and BAE Business Winning processes.
Specific Activities Include:
+ Review and Update of international Business Development training and Business Winning materials; development of new international training as required
+ Provision of Training and resources (templates, libraries, etc.) to ES Sector on International Campaigns
+ Development of tailored International Campaign Strategies for Business Area Pursuits; to include leadership in:
+ Early deployment with Business Area Teams in planning and use of best practices
+ Develop international campaign strategies focused on pursuits that span multiple countries or multiple product-lines across common platforms
+ Participate in Black Hats to assess competitive position
+ Participate in Blue Teams to assess and refine win strategy and readiness to pursue/win/bid/execute
+ Draw from large pool of external and internal independent experts to ensure objectivity and bolster critical thinking
+ May assist in development and vetting of Strengths and CVPs
+ May assist in developing executive summaries and commitment letters
+ May contribute to Strength and Solution Alignment Board efforts
+ May participate in proposal color reviews (e.g., Pink Team, Red Team)
+ Provide insights to assist in creating BW guidance (e.g., color books)
+ Maintain and proliferate lessons-learned for international wins and losses
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree and at least 20 years of experience working in international Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Customer Relationships
+ Exceptional written and oral communication skills with experience presenting at executive level
+ Minimum 8 years of International Capture Management or Business Development experience.
+ Certification in Domestic and International Capture Management, per emerging industry standards.
+ Record of accomplishment of leading International campaigns in excess of $100M.
+ Knowledge of International contracting and current acquisition trends and customer buying behaviors.
+ Proven track record of effective and efficent stakeholder management - all levels
+ Prior knowledge of and experience with military operational environments
+ US Citizen, current Secret Clearance
+ Commercial / International billet - Proven experience, education and aptitude in international captures; Certified capture leadership training and/or accredidation
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Six Sigma certification
+ Program management certification, per emerging industry standards.
+ BS Engineering or higher and/or MBA.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
