Job Description
A local utility company is seeking an IT Project Manager to support the NEARA implementation. This role involves engaging stakeholder groups, overseeing key system integrations, managing budgets and reporting, and coordinating with customer support and change management resources. The Project Manager will also monitor milestones, timelines, and risks, facilitate business releases and testing, and maintain regular communication with all parties. Utility industry experience is preferred, and responsibilities may include supporting wildfire risk modeling, image data management, and pole loading software.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and engage all relevant stakeholder groups throughout the project.
• Oversee three or four key system integrations required for NEARA.
• Coordinate with a dedicated customer support specialist, take a lead role in software functionality, and ensure user groups (including PGE) are represented to NEARA.
• Manage budget processes and OSPM method reporting through Oracle.
• Collaborate with a part-time change management resource to facilitate conversations with the Change Manager, without directly owning change management.
• Oversee and manage overlap between business releases to ensure smooth transitions.
• Coordinate testing schedules, focusing on functional testing.
• Identify and manage project risks proactively.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned.
• Monitor project milestones, timelines, and budgets, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• Utility industry background or experience is considered a plus.
Running wildfire risk models in NEARA, supporting the rollout of LightAR data, managing an enterprise image repository using drones, UAVs, or iPads, and working with pole loading software and engineering forums.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum of five years in Project Management in managing IT systems.
Proficiency in Jira, Smart Sheets, Confluence, Oracle, and Excel.
Understanding of software development, system implementation, and requirements gathering.
Knowledge of system design, testing principles, and integration practices.
Ability to develop detailed work plans and staffing needs for each project phase.
Proficiency in standard tools and techniques, and skill in developing comprehensive project plans. PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
