• TS/SCI CI Poly RF Technician

    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is looking for 2 TS/SCI CI Poly RF Technicians to sit onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, testing, calibrating, and commissioning fully functional systems alongside a dedicated team. You will review and implement engineering drawings to manufacture complex test systems and coordinate revisions with project design engineers. Your tasks will include reviewing complex RF assemblies, making connections, and routing large cable assemblies. You will work with engineers to troubleshoot hardware failures as needed and must be able to read and understand wiring diagrams. Additionally, you will devise and implement methods and procedures for evaluating the accuracy of test stand installations based on provided drawings.

     

    Compensation: $55/hr. -- 68/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Skills and Requirements

    * Associates and 2 years of experience with RF test equipment or no degree and 4 years of experience

    * Active TS/SCI CI Poly

    * Experience installing complex RF assemblies, including making connections and routing large cable assemblies

     

    o i.e. spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers

     

    * Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic test systems

    * Cabling and rack installation/electronic system integration experience * Experience with superconducting electronics test platforms

    * Experience with cryogenic test environments

    * Experience with microwave electronics

    * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
