Job Description
A Localization team at a large software and gaming company is looking for a Localization C++ Engineer to join a growing team. This prerson will be responsible for improving the localization support of a AAA game engine and tools pipeline. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with strong development and debugging skills over large codebases, along with a passion for and understanding of localization and internationalization.
The person in this role will be working with other members of the localization team to:
• Design and implement improvements to the Unreal Engine localization pipeline and tools.
• Identify and fix localization issues within the Unreal Engine Editor.
• Fix bugs and maintain the Unreal Engine localization pipeline.
• Analyze and fix problems such as load times, memory usage, and performance Issues

Skills and Requirements
•7-12 Years of Experience
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 (ideally coming from a gaming company)
• Well versed in software engineering principles.
• Experience developing and debugging a large codebase.
• Experience dealing with localization concerns for large dynamic projects.
• Experience writing UIs with a toolkit such as WPF, QT, Slate (UE5 UI system).
• Familiarity with an existing game engine with an understanding of game engine and editor concepts.
