We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Engineer to join the Distribution Engineering – Overhead Standards & Planning team. This role involves conducting field-based research and analysis, supporting the programming of overhead pole equipment, and managing vendor interactions including quote requests and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, collaborative, and capable of effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements

-3-5 years of extensive experience in overhead pole construction, with a strong understanding of overhead reclosers.

- Hands-on knowledge of recloser installation, programming, and functionality.

- Advanced ability to read and apply electrical code, with a foundation in programming - especially for coordination tasks.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical preferred; Mechanical accepted)

- Valid driver’s license. - Masters in electrical engineering

- Experience with specific recloser technologies and controllers, including:

• VSO, Kyle Recloser, Viper RST, Siemens, Cooper/Eaton

• SEL controllers (Form 4, 5, 6), 651R v1/v2
