• Vulnerability Project Coordinator

    Job Description

    An employer is seeking a Vulnerability Project Coordinator to join their team in Spring, TX. He or she will be joining a newly established team - Security Response team, to help identify potential vulnerabilities that can attack our clients products. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for tracking these vulnerabilities through Jira ticketing systems and assess which team should handle the vulnerability based on what it's affecting (ex - Software vulnerabilities to Thin Clients team, Firmware to Firmware, etc). He or she will then document and pass the project on the to the next PM. The Project Coordinator must has strong communication skills to collaborate with internal researchers, product teams, and cybersecurity stakeholders to gather technical details, validate findings, and define mitigation strategies. He or she will serve as the central point of contact for updates on ticket status, escalations, and resolution timelines. This role is onsite in Spring, TX 3 days a week and the pay for this role is $32.87 per hour.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    2-4 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Jr PM

     

    Previous experience with high volume ticket management through ticketing systems such as Jira

     

    Proven track record of staying highly organized by using dashboards and structured updates to keep leadership informed

     

    Ability to communicate updates to various team members and executives across the organization, delegate tasks as needed and work with a quick sense of urgency

     

    Basic understanding of various PC compotents PMP Certification or similar

     

    Technical background - working on technical projects, QA/Tester roles, etc
