    Job Description

    We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake, focused on data extraction and warehousing. You’ll be responsible for pulling data from various sources and loading it into our data warehouse with minimal transformation, ensuring it’s accurate and ready for analysis.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Data Staging: Organize and prepare raw data for analysis.

     

    Quality Checks: Ensure data is clean, consistent, and reliable.

     

    Performance Optimization: Improve speed and efficiency of data processes.

     

    Data Extraction: Pull data from databases, APIs, files, and streams.

     

    Data Loading: Move data into Snowflake efficiently and accurately.

     

    Security & Compliance: Protect data and follow privacy standards.

     

    Documentation: Keep clear records of processes and data flows.

     

    Team Collaboration: Work with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to meet data needs.

     

    Tech Awareness: Stay current with new tools and suggest improvements.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Certified in Snowflake (Architect, Administrator, or Data Engineer).

    • Strong experience in data engineering, especially in data extraction and warehousing.

    • Skilled in using tools and APIs for data extraction.

    • Proficient with Snowflake and Fivetran.

    • Solid knowledge of SQL and ETL/ELT processes.

    • Understands data modeling and database design. • Comfortable scripting in Python for automation and data tasks.

    • Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
