    Job Description

    We are seeking a motivated Junior QA/Automation Engineer to support our team in both manual and automated testing efforts. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.

    • Assist in writing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Cypress.

    • Perform regression testing during release cycles.

    • Log, track, and verify bugs using tools like JIRA/Azure DevOps.

    • Collaborate with developers and leads to understand requirements and test coverage.

    • Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.

    Compensation:

    $40/hr to $45/hr

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 1-2 years of experience in QA (manual and/or automation) in professional setting.

    • Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).

    • Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or Java).

    • Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

    • Open to travel as needed to any assembly plants in US, Mexico & Canada (could be up to 1 trip per month) • Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman).

    • Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions).

    • ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
