Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Remote QA Lead/Team Lead to join the Quality Assurance team and lead a small team of 2-5 QA Engineers. The primary responsibility of this role is to take ownership of your Scrum teams performance, ensuring the team is following best practices with it come to testing strategy, sprint planning and retrospectives. This will be a hands-on QA Engineering role to must have experience with performing API automation testing on a client facing web application, developing detailed test cases for new features and functionalities and writing automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman and/or SoapUI to automate the execution of these test cases. It is important this individual ensures the quality of the client-facing web applications through collaboration, continuous improvement and thorough testing.

Skills and Requirements

- 1-2 of experience as a QA Lead/Team Lead, leading small teams of 2-5 QA Engineers (Onshore/Nearshore/Offshore).

- 6+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, performing Automation testing & Manual testing.

- Experience performing API automation testing for .Net Framework / Core apps, RESTful APIs, Legacy application modernization & Azure.

- Experience with SQL to query the database, stored procedures, triggers, functions.

- Experience in mortgage, financial services, or enterprise SaaS environments.

- Experience with using one of the following automation frameworks/tools - Selenium, Cypress, Postman and/or Playwright.

- Experience working in a Scrum environment, leading Scrum meetings, sprint planning and retrospectives.

- Experience with developing detailed test cases for new features and functionalities.

- Experience writing and maintaining automation scripts to automate the execution of test cases.

Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and modern development practices. - Knowledge of AI models, governance & practices.

- Experience working in an Azure environment.
