Job Requirements

+ A passion for helping seniors

+ A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members.

+ Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written

+ Ability to work every other weekend

+ Ability to work effectively as a team

Job Responsibilities

+ Developing relationships with residents and their families and supporting the physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs of the residents

+ Communicate needs to and assist resident’s doctors with medical assessments

+ Supervise and motivate Caregivers and Medtechs

+ Ability to maintain accurate and legible records such as nurses’ notes, incident reports, 24-hour reports and medication records

Qualifications

+ Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing Program

+ Current licensure by the State Board of Nurse Examiners

+ Geriatric experience preferred but not mandatory.

+ Experience with electronic medical records preferred but not required

+ Experience with dementia care preferred but not required
