SUMMARY
The Marketing Intern will play a key role in developing and executing a refreshed marketing and branding strategy for MicroConnex. This includes creating compelling marketing materials for upcoming trade shows, enhancing internal and external building signage, and supporting digital branding efforts.
*** This role is temporary for the duration of 8 weeks. It is also part time, 20 hours per week. You choose your schedule!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
+ Collaborate with leadership to develop a cohesive marketing and branding strategy.
+ Design and produce marketing collateral including flyers, capability sheets, and trade show materials.
+ Assist in the creation of branded signage for internal and external use.
+ Support digital marketing initiatives including website updates, social media content, and email campaigns.
+ Coordinate with vendors for printing and production of marketing materials.
+ Conduct market research to inform branding decisions and identify trends.
+ Help organize and prepare for trade show events, including booth setup and promotional materials.
+ Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and materials.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
+ Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
+ Portfolio of previous work or projects, preferred.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
+ Conversational in any other language is a plus.
JOB SKILLS
+ Intermediate in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
+ Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or Canva.
+ Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Google Ads, SEO, social media).
+ Creative mindset with attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

SCHEDULE
+ 8-week Internship

+ Flexible working hours, but must set consistent schedule Monday – Friday between 8:30a - 5:00p.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
As part of their job duties, the employee must sit for lengthy periods while operating a computer. They frequently use their hands to type, handle objects, and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds. + ASTM F–2412–2005, ANSI Z41–1999, or ANSI Z41–1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
+ Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
+ Hearing protection in specific locations.
+ Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.
