Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, technically skilled individual to join our Confirmations team with the mission to drive automation and build AI-enabled solutions for our trade confirmation workflows. This is an entry-level position with an emphasis on problem-solving and applied technology — ideal for a candidate with strong technical skills who wants to work at the intersection of finance, automation, and AI.
In addition to daily responsibilities of confirming with outside counterparties and other Risk Control functions, the long-term goal of this role is to assist in reshaping how we handle trade confirmations, replacing manual processes with scalable, intelligent tools that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
In addition to modernizing the trade confirmation process, this role will collaborate closely with IT to identify, design, and implement further automation opportunities across Risk Management as part of a broader, long-term vision.
This position will be primarily responsible for the confirmation of all trades to outside counterparties and any Dodd Frank reporting requirements associated with these trades. Provides support to Trading, Risk Management and Accounting.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities
+ **Responsible for the confirmation of trades to outside counterparties and the tracking of these trades.**
+ **Responsible for Dodd-Frank reporting including the reporting of D-F trades, submission of quarterly valuation, submission of end-user exception and all necessary D-F mappings in the appropriate systems.**
+ **Responsible for the ad-hoc capture and verification of trades into the appropriate system.**
+ **Responsible for maintaining CME/ICE mappings and the setup and maintenance of counterparties and contracts in the appropriate system.**
+ **Interacts with Trading, Risk Management and Contract Administration personnel** **in order to** **effectively capture and confirm trades.**
+ **Provides assistance to** **Accounting with settlement issues by researching the issue and taking the appropriate actions to correct the problem.**
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
+ **Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to below skills**
+ **Experience in commodity or equity trading is a plus**
+ **Experience in finance, economics or related experience is a plus.**
+ **Excellent computer skills particularly Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, etc.)**
+ **Experience with Allegro or a similar ETRM system is a plus**

+ **Knowledge of deal capture process**
+ **Thorough knowledge and enforcement of Vistra Risk Management Policy**
