    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Manufacturing Assembly Specialist** to join our client’s elite aerospace team in **Renton, WA** . In this high-impact role, you’ll oversee and drive critical production floor activities, ensuring quality and performance standards are met in assembling the most advanced aircraft systems in the world.

     

    This is a **full-time, second shift, 90-day consultant position** —ideal for a proven leader ready to hit the ground running and make an immediate difference.

    What You’ll Do

    + Lead production floor operations including the **assembly of metallic and non-metallic structural components** , **system installations** (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic), and **rigorous testing** .

    + Manage and support **mechanics and inspectors** to meet demanding aerospace manufacturing goals.

    + Oversee the use of various fastening techniques—rivets, soldering, bolts, adhesives—and ensure quality and compliance across the board.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with **engineering, management, suppliers, and customers** to meet technical requirements and delivery expectations.

    + Serve as a critical decision-maker, maintaining quality, timelines, and safety on the production floor.

     

    Qualifications You’ll Need

    Required:

    + Experience **managing mechanics and inspectors** in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    + **Aerospace industry experience** is essential.

    + Ability to work **onsite, second shift** in Renton, WA.

    + No initial training—must be ready to begin work immediately.

    + Must be eligible to receive a **$110/week per diem** if residing **100+ miles** from the job site.

    Preferred:

    + Strong background in aircraft structures, systems installations, or production line supervision.

    + Familiarity with mechanical and electronic testing protocols.

    + Effective communicator with strong leadership and coordination skills.

    **Pay Details:** $62.00 to $65.00 per hour
