A Brief Overview
Responsible for maintenance of the decision support systems and preparation of financial analytics and reporting that is consistent throughout the organization.
What you will do
+ Monitors and maintains Decision Support systems and reporting tools. This includes data imports, data audits, and resolution of system errors, maintenance of dictionary tables, RVU development and review and report writing and maintenance.
+ Understands underlying methodologies for all calculated data including cost and expected reimbursement. Makes recommendations for improvement to these methodologies.
+ Understands underlying system structure and data sources. Researches and resolves data integrity issues.
+ Performs monthly data integrity audits and financial reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of all Decision Support analytics and reporting.
+ Prepares monthly and quarterly reporting packages and ensures timely distribution.
+ Researches and prepares data analytics as requested by various stakeholders including Administration and operational leaders. Develops an understanding of the related goals and objectives in order to recommend modifications to the analytics to be more actionable. Assures integrity of the data prior to distribution to stakeholders.
+ Creates and maintains standard reports that can be used to quickly prepare ad hoc analytics.
+ Understands and supports all decision support functions including cost accounting, contract modeling and productivity.
+ Organizes, executes, and presents special projects as assigned by the Manager and Director of Decision Support.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
+ Bachelor's from four-year college or university in Accounting, Business or related field
+ 1-3 years Experience
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
+ Cost accounting experience
