As an Fabrications Product Quality Auditor at Caterpillar you will:

Job Responsibility:

+ Completes inspections of fabrication structures and undercarriage using standard work, a checklist, and tooling provided (gauges, templates, etc.)

+ Performs overall quality inspection at quality gates or at pre-delivery inspection.

+ Inspects welds on the product to ensure it meets the specifications as outlined by Engineering.

+ Identifies defects, takes pictures, and records results in the defect management system.

+ Follows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work.

Physical Requirements:

+ Lift parts up to 35 pounds individually

+ Occasional bending, reaching, and squatting while performing tasks

+ Consistent usage of required PPE for the task being performed

+ Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures

+ Ability to stand at the workstation while performing tasks

Basic Qualifications:

+ Basic Computer skills

+ Ability to use measuring tools and check gauges

Desired Qualification:

+ Knowledge of Caterpillar systems ATRS (Assembly Tracking and Reliability System), PINPoint, Geneo)

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook)

+ Previous quality, welding or fabrication experience

Starting pay:

**2nd & 3rd Shifts:** $21.82/hour

2nd Shift Schedule:

Monday - Friday 2:15 PM - 10:15 PM

3rd Shift Schedule:

Sunday night - Friday morning 10:15 PM - 6:15 AM

*Mandatory overtime required/ Scheduled in advance*

Summary Pay Range:

$20.20 - $25.25
