    Role Definition

    + Support in higher complexity data quality, data design and data processing. Under minimal supervision, manage data requests, research data issues, and provide research and assistance in data processing across various Insurance services department. Responsible for training others in system support and maintenance

    Responsibilities

    + Ensuring up-to-date system processes and reporting are maintained in customer database.

    + Identifying and developing business relationships with key customers, key influencers, dealers and senior leaders, and establishing self as an expert resource.

    + Management of resources to meet efficiency targets and corporate goals and metrics.

    + Understanding of information systems processes and data flows.

    Degree Requirement

    + A 4-year college or university degree in any discipline or a minimum of 5 years exempt experience in information services, programming, and data research.

    + Previous exempt work experience must be progressively increasing in responsibility and accountability and demonstrate an ability to gain knowledge, skills, and responsibility such that a level of full competency can be reached. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.

    + **Service Excellence:** Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

    + **Effective Communications:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

    + **Negotiating:** Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.

    + **Problem Solving:** Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

    + **CRM Strategy Design and Implementation:** Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM); ability to design and run CRM applications to acquire, grow and retain profitable customer relationships.

    + **Customer Relationship Management (CRM):** Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) concepts and strategies; ability to evaluate CRM applications and improve CRM business processes.

    + **Analytical and Quantitative Strength** Advanced proficiency in mathematical computations and statistical analysis, enabling the candidate to interpret complex data sets and deliver actionable insights.

    + **Technical Proficiency** Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint, with the ability to leverage these tools for reporting, collaboration, and documentation. Proficient in Power BI for building dynamic dashboards and visual reports that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

    + **Emerging Skills in Enterprise Systems and Financial Data** Demonstrates a growing interest in enterprise systems and programming, with foundational exposure to mainframe environments and SAS. Eager to build expertise in data extraction and analysis through hands-on experience. Possesses a basic understanding of accounting principles and is developing skills in writing and interpreting SQL queries to support accurate financial data retrieval. Shows strong enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies to solve business challenges.

    Additional information:

    + This position requires the successful candidate to work full time, 5 days per week in the Nashville main office.

    Summary Pay Range:

    $92,880.00 - $160,788.00

     

    Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
