    Overview

     

    The Associate Director, Ad Operations plays a key role in managing and optimizing the execution of digital media campaigns across display, video, social, mobile, and programmatic channels. This role supports the Director and oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring campaigns are launched accurately, efficiently, and on time. The Associate Director also helps refine processes, mentor team members, and collaborate across departments to drive operational excellence and innovation.

    Responsibilities

    + Support the Director in leading and developing the Ad Operations team, ensuring best practices and consistency across all campaigns.

    + Partner with media and creative teams to activate digital campaigns, troubleshoot issues, and streamline workflow.

    + Manage campaign setup and trafficking processes, including creative and tag implementation, QA, and troubleshooting.

    + Oversee and support Associates with trafficking responsibilities, ensuring quality and accuracy in all campaign deliverables.

    + Maintain alignment across all digital marketing channels to ensure cohesive campaign management.

    + Manage campaign activation workflow in JIRA and ensure tasks are completed according to deadlines.

    + Create and maintain traffic sheets for clients, including taxonomy and creative/landing page mapping.

    + Conduct QA on creatives, validate campaign setups, and ensure trafficking instructions are communicated clearly.

    + Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address campaign or delivery issues post-launch.

    + Generate and maintain data source files, ad-hoc and scheduled reports, and delivery summaries.

    + Assist in analyzing delivery reports to assess campaign performance and identify areas for optimization.

    + Partner with the Director and media team to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.

    + Collaborate with vendors and creative agencies to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

    + Help ensure campaign timelines are met and deliverables are completed according to schedule.

    Qualifications

    + 5–7 years of experience in digital media operations (agency or publisher side).

    + Strong understanding of ad trafficking, campaign setup, QA, and reporting processes across multiple digital channels.

    + Hands-on experience with digital platforms, including ad servers (Google Campaign Manager/DCM), DSPs, DMPs, and tag management systems (GTM, Ensighten, Signal, etc.).

    + Familiarity with DoubleClick Digital Marketing (DDM) and/or Google 360 Suite.

    + Experience with viewability, verification, and fraud prevention vendors (VVF).

    + Strong technical aptitude with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and ad tag troubleshooting.

    + Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    + Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

     

    Collaborative and proactive, with a focus on process improvement and team mentorship

    Compensation Range: $95,950 - 150,995. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
