Description
The Program Security Officer (PSO) will provide security support for a dynamic, fast-paced USG organization. ThePSOmust possess and have successfully demonstrated technical security competence, excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and the interpersonal skills necessary to determine and implement effective security policy for the protection of classified efforts.
The duties of aPSOinclude, but are not limited to:
Using knowledge of the various security disciplines such as physical security, personnel security, information system security and industrial security to determine appropriate security requirements for assigned programs.
Plan, coordinate, and manage security support for classified activities.
Must be familiar with and possess a working knowledge of SAP/SAR and JADE.
Assist in the development, review, coordination, and execution of a wide range of program security documentation.
In addition, the position will provide "day-to-day" analysis for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Duties may include: day-to-day security support for continuous assessment of procedures, making appropriate recommendations of security policies, procedures, and systems. Assist in providing contractor and subordinate facility support and oversight. Brief personnel on a variety of security related topics.
Monitor, report, and track corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews. Ensure timely notification of pertinent security matters to program technical and management staff.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related experience is required. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. **Must possess a current/active Top Secret Clearance with SCI - candidates who do not currently possess this level of clearance will not be considered.**

Pay Range:
Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
