    About the Team

We are a collaborative, mission-driven team at Autodesk that values innovation, customer outcomes, and professional growth. We work on high-impact products that shape the future of digital asset management in the water industry. With our industry leading Water Portfolio, our efforts help communities build resilient and sustainable infrastructure through the integration of geospatial, engineering and operational data into a unified platform.

    Job Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager to help lead the strategy, development, and execution of Autodesk’s Info360 Asset Management Product/Platform. This role is critical to our product portfolio transformation and shaping how water and wastewater utilities manage the full lifecycle of their assets — from planning rehabilitation programs to executing day-to-day operations and maintenance.

The successful candidate will define product vision and roadmap, synthesize customer and market needs into actionable requirements, and collaborate across engineering, UX, sales, customer success, and industry strategy teams. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation at the intersection of asset management, operations, GIS, and digital twins — and to deliver solutions that help utilities optimize costs, extend asset life, and improve service reliability.

    Responsibilities

    Product Strategy & Roadmapping

+ Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with Autodesk’s business objectives and market opportunities.

+ Identify opportunities to bridge asset planning with operational execution, driving day-to-day use and monthly active user (MAU) growth.

+ Collaborate with product counterparts across Info360 Asset, Info360 Insight, the Info360 Platform, and Autodesk hydraulic modeling solutions to ensure alignment with the water portfolio's connected ecosystem and Autodesk’s broader digital twin ecosystem.

    Customer Research & Market Analysis

+ Conduct customer interviews and workflow research to understand needs, pain points, and decision-making processes of utilities and consultants.

+ Monitor industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation.

+ Develop customer personas, use cases, and jobs-to-be-done to inform product design and go-to-market strategies.

+ Monitor, prioritize, and actively participate in Autodesk’s public ideas portal, ensuring customer feedback is incorporated into roadmap decisions.

+ Collaborate with the Industry Strategy team to align product direction with long-term market trends and Autodesk’s strategic priorities.

    Product Development & Execution

+ Translate strategy and customer insights into product requirements, epics, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

+ Partner with engineering and UX teams through agile ceremonies to prioritize high-impact features and keep development on track.

+ Manage release timelines, dependencies, and customer bug triage to ensure smooth delivery.

+ Identify critical customer workflows from Autodesk’s legacy desktop Asset Management products that align with current and future market needs and incorporate them into our cloud-based solutions to enable customer transition and business growth.

    Data-Driven Decision Making

+ Define and track key metrics for product adoption, customer outcomes, and business performance.

+ Leverage customer usage data and feedback (e.g., Gainsight, ADP, ideas portal) to recommend improvements and validate product impact.

+ Champion measurable outcomes — such as improved inspection efficiency, reduced downtime, or lifecycle cost savings.

    Integration & Ecosystem Alignment

+ Drive ecosystem integration strategy with industry solutions like GIS (primarily Esri), CMMS/EAM, SCADA/IoT, Autodesk Tandem, and inspection software platforms to deliver a connected ecosystem for utilities.

+ Evaluate and champion third-party partnerships & integrations that extend the value of Info360 Asset.

+ Incorporate AI/ML-powered insights that help utilities interact directly with their data (Agentic interactions), predict asset failures, optimize lifecycle costs, and dynamically prioritize O&M work.

    Customer & Stakeholder Communication

+ Effectively present and communicate product roadmap, metrics, and strategy updates to internal stakeholders and leadership.

+ Support sales and customer success with training materials, documentation, and demo narratives for new releases.

+ Partner with UX to lead customer validation sessions and incorporate feedback into future development.

    Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

+ 5+ years of SaaS product management experience, OR equivalent experience in a customer-facing technology role (e.g., sales engineering, customer success, solutions engineering, implementation consulting).

+ Demonstrated ability to gather customer needs and translate them into product requirements or workflows.

+ Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to use data and customer insights to drive product decisions.

+ Well-organized with the ability to balance day-to-day tactical work with longer-term strategic initiatives.

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

+ Demonstrated success in launching new products or capabilities to market — ideally within complex or data-driven industries — with a proven ability to drive adoption and deliver customer and business impact

+ Familiarity with agile development practices and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and roadmapping software (e.g., Aha!).

    Preferred Qualifications

+ Knowledge of utility planning & operations, asset management systems, or geospatial/engineering software a strong plus

+ Experience working with integrations across GIS, CMMS/EAM, IoT/SCADA, or BIM platforms.
