• Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift (7p to 7a)

Novant Health is seeking an EKG Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to perform diagnostic testing that plays a critical role in the detection and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. In this role, you will:
• Perform EKGs, Holter monitor setups, and cardiac event monitoring with accuracy and efficiency
• Support physicians and clinical teams in diagnosing and monitoring cardiac conditions
• Ensure proper equipment function, cleanliness, and readiness for patient use
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients before and during testing
• Accurately document and report test results in the electronic medical record

Qualifications
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. High school diploma or equivalent, required.
+ Experience: Previous medical experience, preferred.
+ Additional Skills Required: Medical terminology and CPR-basic. Ability to operate electronic and computer-based equipment. Ability to recognize technical inferior EKG and take corrective action as appropriate. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
+ Additional Skills Preferred: MUSE system. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
