$10,000 Sign-On BonusShift: 4, 8-hour shifts + Call Once/MonthAs a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients and their families. Maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses, Philosophy of Nursing at UnityPoint Health within the structure of the Professional Nurse Practice Model and in collaboration with other care givers.

Responsibilities
+ Provides comprehensive pre-op and post-op care for patient of all ages undergoing surgical procedures.
+ Prepares patients for surgery, conducts assessments, and provides necessary education.
+ Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth transitions in patient care from pre-op to post-op and discharge, coordinating follow-up appointments and any necessary home care services.
Qualifications
Education:
+ Diploma from an RN program.
License(s)/Certification(s):
+ Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
+ Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
+ Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
+ Must possess and maintain ACLS
