In this position...
Drive cost reduction strategy and implementation across IPTS (including JVs) through the ongoing use of cross functional Matched Pair teams and the use of global tools and processes to manage cost.
Drive cost reduction strategy and implementation across the CBG (including JVs) through the ongoing use of cross functional Matched Pair teams and the use of global tools and processes to manage cost.
Including:
- Governance process with Senior Matched Pair leadership aligned with CBG leadership
- Manage functional and market review structure and process for cost reduction activities and delivery.
- Drive / support as appropriate War Room / Functional / Matched pair and related meeting cadence
- Lead planning and deliver cross functional events and enablers to identify new cost reduction initiatives.
- Lead development of GDIA tools to enable cost delivery.
Interface with Global Material Cost Team and TVM Finance to ensure alignment in business practices in both current and new model program process within the CBG.
Provide escalation path for both countries and functional teams to ensure appropriate support at all levels of the CBG.
Provide global tools and enablers as appropriate for the CBG. Such tools include TVMer, CAPE, GRIMM, CRID (or equivalent) and develop/provide agreed training and support for the CBG.
Support the Supplier Risk Management team, plans and global team interface for the CBG.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Business, Engineering, Purchasing, MLM (Materials and Logistics Management) and related fields); graduate / master's level preferred.

The following skills and experiences are recommended qualifications for this role:
• Strong process and facilitation orientation: Requires an ability to take the existing TVM market processes and develop migration plans to align with global best practice.
Understand and manage the complexities of the CBG:
• To ensure both country and function are represented and achieving their objectives.
• Joint ventures within the CBG have adequate support to achieve cost objectives.
• The CBG receives appropriate cost reduction support and flow through from other CBGs.
• Facilitates appropriate interaction and alignment within a global team as a CBG representative
• Strong understanding of contribution cost drivers and is able to understand how these drivers interact and what tradeoffs need to be made for the best enterprise cost reduction result.
• Work with and lead cross functional teams to deliver cost reduction results. Needs to be able to lead and manage teams that do not directly report to the position.
• Strong communication skill to help different stakeholders understand the priority of TVM and what is required of them to support delivery.
