+ Review and approve test plans and results to ensure low voltage interface compatibility and component requirement compliance

+ Contribute to the development and validation of electrical architecture, performing trade studies to realize efficient design strategies, and optimize for cost, mass, performance, and serviceability.

+ Own electrical subsystem interface documentation, collaborating with hardware and EDS teams to ensure accurate logical and physical implementation and seamless integration

+ Support functional safety analyses and decomposition of complex vehicle subsystems, create functional boundary diagrams and system interface specifications.

+ Manage design and integration of initial prototype systems including bring-up, debug, and engineering test of prototype bucks, labcars, and vehicles

    You'll have...

+ B.S in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience

+ 6+ years of experience working on complex electrical systems or electronics designs

+ Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and ability to apply them to automotive concepts

+ Proven debugging and diagnostic skills in electrical, mechanical, and software domains

    Even better, you may have...

+ Master’s Degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related fields

+ Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, power supplies, etc.)

+ Experience with hardware definition and integration of chassis and/or thermal electronics

+ Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA)

+ Experience with electrical / electro-mechanical devices involving networked microcontrollers and embedded software
