What’s a Typical Day Like as a Materials Coordinator?

As a vital member of our operations team, you will handle a variety of hands-on and administrative tasks that are crucial for keeping our parts and inventory moving smoothly. Your daily responsibilities will include:

+ **Parts Tracking & Reporting:** Monitor and maintain accurate records through data entry in SAP.

+ **Purchasing Goods & Services:** Create purchase orders to ensure a steady supply of necessary parts.

+ **Vendor Coordination:** Collaborate with shops and vendors to check stock availability, pricing, and alternate part numbers.

+ **Inventory Control:** Manage inventory levels to optimize efficiency and reduce shortages.

+ **Backup Support for Shipping:** Provide support to the shipping department as needed.

+ **Additional Duties:** Take on other tasks when assigned to support team objectives.

The Materials Coordinator Role Might Be A Perfect Fit If You:

+ Have a High School Diploma or GED.

+ Are able to work Tuesday-Saturday, 8am-5pm

+ Are physically able to lift up to 40lbs. throughout your shift.

+ Bring prior experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or inventory management.

+ Possess basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with a willingness to learn new software programs.
