What you'll be doing
As a member of CIBC’s team, the Financial Systems analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining data and systems used by the US Financial Planning and Analysis team. This role performs a variety of data related tasks including gathering, loading, and validating data from various sources, as well as end user support. The Financial Systems Analyst works independently on tasks and provides recommendations for ongoing process improvements.

How you'll succeed
+ **Attention to Detail** - This role is critical to ensure data accuracy. All tasks must be executed with attention to detail and in accordance with controls.
+ **Collaboration** - Maintain a collaborative work environment to resolve problems and ensure appropriate processes and controls are in place.
+ **Understanding of FP&A** – Build and maintain relationships with Financial Analysts to understand how they use the data and systems.

+ **You have 1+ years** of financial system experience (Essbase preferred)

+ You have a degree/diploma in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
+ You have experience working with multiple hierarchies
+ You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

_At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of_ **$70,000K - $90,000K** _for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
