# Project Overview:
Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The Phase 2 project is located within the overall Port Arthur LNG site. It features one LNG tank, two liquefaction trains, and an additional LNG loading berth, enhancing its capacity to meet growing global energy demands. The Project is being constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake.
# Job Summary:
You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development for the Site Piling program. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules, and budgets. Performs general functions inherent in all supervisory field positions.
# Major Responsibilities:
Leadership/Supervision
+ Schedules, supervises, and directs work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.
+ Performs general functions inherent in all supervisory field positions.
+ Proactively engages with their team's development through CPM, Competency development/assessment and feedback.
# Planning/Productivity
+ Coordinates activities with other disciplines or areas and clients’ resident representatives, as instructed by construction management.
+ Participates in the development of planning construction methods and procedures, schedules for workforce, material, and equipment requirements.
+ Reviews and assigns installation work packages to foreman and general foreman.
+ Reports and reviews installed quantities to Field Engineering for verification and quantity claiming
+ Participates in the development and implementation of level 4 and level 5 project schedules.
# Tools, Materials & Equipment
+ Monitors tool and equipment usage on the site.
+ Prepares Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.
# Safety/Quality
+ Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.
+ Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors’ performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
+ Ensures the implementation of corporate/project policies, procedures, and instructions within assigned operations.
# Technical
+ Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents.
+ Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.
+ Inspects installed components for technical acceptance.
+ Participates in development of Commodity Installation means and methods.
+ Develops understanding of industry / International Codes & Standards applicable to work scope.
+ Utilizes and leverages applicable automation software and processes as applicable.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9 -12 years of relevant work experience.
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Experience on an LNG construction site especially along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
+ Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing or power generating station construction is preferred.
+ Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written. Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.
+ Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards. Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
+ Ability to develop 3-week look ahead schedule regarding work operations.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams. Maintain, promote, and cultivate a safe work ethic and work environment within the craft.
+ Able to work extended work schedules and night shift as required to support the project execution plans and schedules.
+ Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H). Demonstrable commitment to a Zero Accident safety program..
