    Description

    This position is contingent upon contract award.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Support the development and execution of logistics strategies aligned with USSOCOM objectives and SOF GLSS contract requirements.

    + Oversee daily logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and field support.

    + Ensure compliance with DoD regulations, FAR/DFARS, and USSOCOM-specific directives.

    + Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance, and program management teams to optimize sustainment performance.

    + Monitor logistics KPIs and readiness metrics to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.

    + Assist in managing subcontractor performance and logistics-related deliverables.

    + Support audit readiness, DCMA surveillance, and government reporting requirements.

    + Mentor logistics personnel and site leads to ensure consistent execution and accountability.

    + Serve as a liaison between logistics operations and government stakeholders to resolve issues and align priorities.

    •** **Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

    + 8+ years of experience in logistics operations, with at least 3 years supporting DoD or federal contracts.

    + Strong understanding of military logistics, sustainment operations, and government compliance frameworks.

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

    + Experience with ERP systems and logistics platforms (e.g., DPAS, GCSS-Army, or equivalent).

    •** **Preferred Certifications

    + Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) or equivalent

    + PMP or Lean Six Sigma Certification

    + Familiarity with DCMA protocols and government audit standards

    + Secret clearance or eligibility preferred
