Job Summary and Qualifications

**Role Summary:** Ensures quality patient care by assisting in the performance of all procedures in the Endoscopy Department.

Your responsibilities will include:

+ Preparing procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verifying equipment is in proper working order, and keeping supplies organized and stocked

+ Helping position and transport patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics to protect both patients and yourself

+ Supporting physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices

+ Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopy equipment, and keeping accurate records for quality and safety

+ Communicating with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed, and supporting their privacy and comfort throughout their care

What qualifications you will need:

+ **Required Education:** High school diploma/GED

+ **Preferred License:** NA I

+ **Preferred Experience:** Previous Endoscopy or OR experience
