    **Position Purpose:** Manage and execute media and public relations efforts for Corporate products, regional health plans and other subsidiaries, including proactive media, public relations and crisis communications.

    + Provide strategic communication counsel and guidance to subsidiaries within assigned regions, including proactive public relations initiatives and issues management.

    + Oversee Public Relations for Markets and Product subsidiaries.

    + Oversee review and approval process between subsidiaries and corporate senior management for public relations activities.

    + Monitor and analyze Centene, industry and competitive trends that impact the organization, and recommend and implement action plans.

    + Oversee Corporate Public Relations efforts related to national programs, M&A activities and business development activities.

    **Education/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. 6+ years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications. Experience working in a managed care, insurance, or healthcare environment preferredPay Range: $105,600.00 - $195,400.00 per year
