Job Summary
In this frontline leadership role, you’ll drive daily execution in a manual sewing operation where precision, pace, and pride matter. You’ll coach individual contributors on both technical excellence and the behavioral standards that sustain a culture of ownership. Through clear, consistent communication and visual management, you’ll align your team to production goals, resolve bottlenecks, and foster continuous improvement. Your ability to translate expectations into action will directly support the safety and readiness of those who serve on the front lines.
Job Responsibilities
+ Safety & Compliance Enforcement: Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing PPE, ergonomic practices, and incident reporting protocols.
+ Drive Daily Execution: Ensure shift output meets or exceeds customer demand, balancing product mix and resolving bottlenecks in real time.
+ Escalation & Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of escalation for production issues, labor concerns, and equipment downtime.
+ Visual Management & Communication: Use tiered huddles, dashboards, and control charts to communicate goals, progress, and issues clearly across the team and shifts.
+ Coach for Accountability: Provide direct, behavior-based feedback to team members, reinforcing standards for safety, quality, attendance, behavior, and productivity.
+ Lead a Team: ~50 Direct Reports
+ Labor Planning & Flexing: Adjust staffing and work assignments based on demand, skill level, and process constraints to maintain flow.
