    Position Summary:

    Plans, coordinates, monitors, and directs quality control programs designed to ensure food safety consistent with established company and regulatory standards. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company

    Position Responsibilities

    + Maintain and control an effective quality assurance program, including daily product testing and verification.

    + Assist with the monthly self-audit of the operation to determine the level of compliance with the good manufacturing practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and company policies relating to food safety.

    + Maintain and control effective quality assurance/food safety procedures and practices.

    + Ensure overall compliance with government food regulatory agencies and other applicable regulations, including state-specific regulatory programs

    + Manage and update to ensure compliance with the Food Safety Plan/ SQF program.

    + Prepare the facility to successfully achieve and maintain SQF Status

    + Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

    6 months - 1 Year

     

    Quality control within the foodservice industry and related regulatory compliance laws.
