The Workplace Services and Facilities team operates offices and other DoorDash facilities such as Labs, DashMarts and Kitchens. We are building and operating spaces that are inclusive, inspirational, and at the same time functional. About the Role
DoorDash is looking for a Regional Facilities Operations Manager to support the ongoing growth of our New Vertical businesses as well as our corporate offices. In this role, you manage the ongoing operations of 150+ facilities in the US, including new site launches, decommissions, expansions, relocations and remodels. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure seamless facility operations and lead projects that enable a strong facility management foundation. + Manage an outsourced management team that handles work order management for repairs and maintenance
+ Serves as the escalation point of contact for the East Region which may require afterhours or weekend support
+ Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Facility Operations Playbook
+ Project Manage critical initiatives, inclusive of change management plans
+ Develop and cultivate relationships with Landlords and Property Management groups
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure capital, safety and security projects are managed effectively and do not impact operations
+ Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as HR, IT, Safety & Security on emergency preparedness and business continuity plans
+ Track Facility Operations expenses and establish dashboards to identify trends
+ Conducts regular site inspections and solution against systemic deficiencies
+ Collaborate with field leaders to ensure consistency, trainings, and best practices across regions
+ Travel up to 25% for site inspections and to support launching or decommissioning of facilities

+ Have 5+ years of Facility Management multi-unit experience, including light industrial and/or retail spaces
+ Strong knowledge of work order management systems, such as ServiceChannel
+ Have experience managing remote facilities and a remote team
+ Have a bachelor’s degree, and/or a CFM (or other relevant certifications), or have equivalent work experience
+ Proven ability to manage escalations and communicate effectively with senior stakeholder
+ Robust background in critical systems, mechanical and electrical engineering and energy management programs strongly preferred
Compensation
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

+ For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
+ For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
$81,600 — $120,000 USD
