    **Job Title:** Sanitation Specialist

    **Location:** Ann Arbor, MI

    **Pay Range:** $18 - WEEKLY PAY

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + Wash pots and pans using institutional equipment including Power Soak, rack washer, and three-compartment sink

    + Sweep and mop kitchen floors; clean sinks, drains, mats, and kitchen equipment

    + Remove garbage promptly and clean containers as needed

    + Assist in warewash area and complete special cleaning projects

    + Maintain logs for cleaning duties and sanitation checks per schedule

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + 1+ year experience in institutional cleaning

    + Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and procedures

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks safely

    + Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions

    + Compliance with position specific immunization requirements, including MMR, Chickenpox/Varicella, Tdap, and seasonal Flu vaccine, as well as a current negative TB test.
