Material Handler – 2nd Shift

**Location:** Newton, NC

**Job Type:** Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

**Shift:** 2nd Shift (Afternoon/Evening)

Pay:

+ $18.00/hour starting pay (includes 2nd shift differential)

+ $20.00/hour after full-time hire

Overview:

A well-established manufacturing company in Newton, NC is hiring reliable and experienced **2nd Shift Material Handlers** . This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering stable hours, weekly pay, and the chance to grow with a respected employer.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Operate forklifts (stand-up and/or sit-down) to move materials throughout the facility

+ Load and unload trucks and maintain inventory accuracy

+ Deliver raw materials to production areas in a timely manner

+ Use computer systems for inventory tracking and basic data entry

+ Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

+ Forklift experience required (stand-up and/or sit-down)

+ Basic computer skills (for inventory systems and data entry)

+ Strong attention to detail and safety

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ High School Diploma or GED preferred
