    Our client, a leading organization in the consumer goods industry, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Accounts Receivable Specialist

    **Location:** Downtown St. Paul, MN

    **Pay Range:** $29 - $32/hour

    **Shift:** Monday - Thursday In-Office, Friday Remote; (7AM-9AM) - (3PM-5PM)

    **Position Type:** 6 Month Contract with likely extension/conversion to Permanent

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Timely and accurate application of daily cash receipts

    + Research and accounting for customer trade and non-trade deductions

    + Coordinate with sales representatives, brokers, and customers regarding deduction activity

    + Manage customer aging balances to meet KPI goals; work directly with customers to resolve past due amounts and recover unauthorized deductions

    + Prepare deduction packages for approval, process broker commission payments, and handle credit memos as needed

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related professional certifications

    + At least 2+ years of high-volume Accounts Receivable experience

    + Consumer Packaged Goods/Trade Spending/Deduction accounting experience a plus

    + Strong working knowledge of Excel, complex ERPs (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Navision); Trade Deduction software experience a plus (FlintFox, Exceedra)

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
