    Direct Hire, Shipping Attendant

     

    York, PA Mon-Fri 7:30pm-4pm

     

    $21-23/hr to start based on experience level

     

    Manpower is assisting a premiere company local to York in hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. The right candidate needs to have previous experience with both warehouse duties and preparing domestic and international shipping documentation.

    Main Responsibilities include:

    •Pick, pack, and prepare all spare parts and customer sample products for domestic express and international, international express, and air freight.

    •Prepare all invoices and international documents for any shipments that are not created on a sales order or requires documentation for a specific country's regulations.

    •Manually and systemically prepare and arrange LTL shipments including preparing BOL’s and AWB’s.

    •Demonstrates and understanding of international shipping packaging and shipping documentation and regulation

    •Safe operation of forklifts and high reach trucks according to policy and truck operation manual.

    •Transport work orders from the stockroom to appropriate location on assembly floor.

    •Catalog returns from jobs on the assembly floor and return them to inventory.

    •Perform daily cycle counts of warehouse locations, as assigned, to maintain an accurate inventory
