Machinist – Weekend Shift (CNC Mill Setup & Operator)

**📍** **Location:** Mead, CO

**💵** **Pay:** Up to $30/hour (based on experience)

**🕒** **Schedule:** Friday–Sunday (36 hours/week, paid for 40 hours – 4 bonus hours)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled **CNC Mill Setup and Operator Machinist** to join our weekend shift team. You’ll work a compressed schedule and enjoy four days off each week while helping ensure exceptional quality and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare jobs including tool building, fixturing, material prep, and loading offsets per specifications

+ Coordinate with programmers on job progress and improvements

+ Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly

+ Load/unload equipment and materials safely

+ Suggest and implement efficiency improvements

+ Perform routine preventive maintenance

+ Log and record readings for machined parts

Qualifications:

+ Prior experience in shop operations or related field

+ Proficiency with machine shop and quality lab tools

+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

+ Physically capable of handling workload

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
