Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Crane Operator to join their team. As a Crane Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting the handling and positioning of steel products, machinery, and equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Job Title:** Crane Operator

**Location:** Petersburg, VA

**Pay Range:** $17.00

What's the Job?

+ Safely operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position steel products and equipment.

+ Read and interpret CAD drawings, symbols, and notes to ensure precise material handling.

+ Use tape measures and other tools to verify dimensions and specifications.

+ Maintain situational awareness and adhere to all safety protocols at all times.

+ Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment, supporting operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

+ Prior experience operating overhead cranes is strongly preferred.

+ Mechanical and technical aptitude; basic computer skills are a plus.

+ Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in a physically demanding environment.

+ Strong attention to safety and awareness of surroundings.

+ Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
