Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Specialist to join our 1st Shift warehouse operations team. This position plays a key role in overseeing inventory processes, performing cycle counts, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring inventory accuracy within a temperature-sensitive environment.
Shift: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm
Pay: 17/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Oversee and monitor inventory tracking and reconciliation.
+ Perform daily cycle counts across various warehouse locations.
+ Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
+ Train company personnel on inventory procedures and processes.
+ Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, reach truck, forklift, clamp truck, cherry picker, walkie rider).
+ Use PC or RF terminal to access systems (JDE, GME, C3ME).
+ Monitor and optimize warehouse space utilization.
+ Process, stage, and document damaged product in accordance with SOPs.
+ Assist with unloading trucks, receiving, locating, picking, and shipping.
+ Move finished goods from unreleased to released inventory, including batch drops.
+ Learn and assist with inventory analyst responsibilities as needed.
+ Perform other inventory-related tasks as assigned.
Work Environment:
+ Exposure to cold environments: up to 5 hours/day in -15°F
+ Ambient warehouse temperatures: ranges from 40°F to 105°F
+ Physically demanding position involving frequent lifting and movement
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required
+ Experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment preferred
Skills:
+ Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, JDE, GME, and C3ME systems
+ Knowledge of SOPs and inventory control processes
+ Strong problem-solving and documentation abilities
Physical Requirements:
+ Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin
+ Ability to lift up to 70 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 100 lbs
+ Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, and grasping
+ Visual acuity of 20/40 (with or without correction)
+ Hearing ability of at least 25 dB
Licenses & Certifications:
+ Valid driver’s license
+ Valid forklift license required
Language and Math Requirements:
+ Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
+ Strong math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
