    JOB TITLE: Truss Driver

     

    JOB LOCATION: Willard, UT

     

    FUNCTION: Participate in the various activities associated with delivering trusses for residential and commercial projects.

    KEY ACTIVITIES:

    + Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values.

    + Deliver materials to commercial and residential customers including loading and unloading of materials, pulling material/building loads, truck maintenance and record keeping.

    + Inspect truck before and after trips and submit report indicating truck condition.

    + Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.

    + Safely navigating heavy construction and residential job sites.

    + Follow written and verbal directions and safety procedures.

    + Maintain a clean working environment.

    + Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.

    + Perform other duties as required.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    + Effective written and verbal communication skills.

    + Able to function effectively as part of a high-performance team.

    + Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environment.

    + Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    + Previous experience in transportation of oversize and pilot escort.

    + Clean MVR and current medical card.

    + Class A CDL.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    + Physical Work Requirements - Heavy: exerting up to 75 lbs of force regularly.

    + Repetitive impact motion associated with construction activities.

    + Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
