Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will manage key financial processes and ensure accurate record-keeping for the organization. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to contribute significantly to our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records by performing daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and ledger updates.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.

• Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

• Prepare and execute month-end close procedures, including account reconciliations and reporting.

• Process payroll and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Utilize software such as Sage50 and QuickBooks to manage financial data efficiently.

• Generate financial reports and provide insights into the organization's financial health.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve any accounting issues.

• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation to support compliance efforts. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping with a strong understanding of financial principles.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.

• Familiarity with bank reconciliations and month-end close procedures.

• Skilled in using software tools such as Sage50, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to manage payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams and resolve financial issues.
