    Begin your journey as a Forklift Operator through the Utility Learning Path. This structured training program is designed to build well-rounded capabilities as a Utility Operator to ultimately prepare and coach you to assume the role of Forklift Operator. Develop your skill set as you support various areas of the plant and always work in a safe manner. Play a vital role in inventory control, quality, and accuracy, as you work closely with local quality assurance, warehouse, and inventory experts to make an impact on our processes.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Assist all areas of the plant with sanitation, promotional drops, case picking, inventory management, forklift operation, and product handling.

    + Operate forklifts with various attachments (pull-pack, slip sheet, etc.) in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

    + Safely load/unload trailers, ensuring weight distribution, load integrity, and adherence to all shipping instructions.

    + Move finished products from the production line and store them in the correct location in the warehouse.

    + Case pick products following all guidelines using an RF scanner, hand wrap and label products, and stage them in the appropriate location.

    + Monitor trailers holding levels, sanitation of trailers, and surrounding areas.

    + Safely operate walkie, sweeper, and scrubber equipment.

    + Ensure a clean and safe production environment, including sanitation and cleaning.

    + Regularly lift items up to 55 pounds.

    Basic Qualifications

    + High School diploma or GED required·

    + 6 months of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, agriculture, military, food service, or a related environment.

    Pay Progression Plan

    + Utility Operator E: $24.09

    + Forklift Operator D: $26.36

    + Forklift Operator C: $29.77

    + Forklift Operator B: $34.33

     

    The approximate hourly pay for this position is $24.09. Please note that the pay provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
