• Data Engineer

    Robert Half Technology (Houston, TX)


    Description

    + Design and implement scalable data architectures using Azure services, especially Azure Data Factory

    + Build, deploy, and maintain data pipelines for structured and unstructured data

    + Lead the integration of Microsoft Fabric into enterprise data solutions

    + Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize AI/ML models and embed them into business processes

    + Ensure data governance, security, and best practices across the entire data lifecycle

    + Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

     

    Nice to Have

     

    + Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect)

    + Experience with Power BI integration

    + Exposure to data mesh or data fabric concepts

    Requirements

    Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or similar role

     

    Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, or equivalent tools

     

    Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Engineering, Real-Time Analytics, etc.)

     

    Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including model deployment and lifecycle management

     

    Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data modeling

     

    Deep knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and security standards

    Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
