Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Lockport, New York. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who can take the lead in shaping and implementing HR policies, processes, and strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to build a robust HR framework that supports recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement comprehensive HR policies and strategies.

• Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

• Manage payroll functions, including working with systems such as Paylocity, to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and employment regulations.

• Develop and maintain programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

• Lead initiatives to standardize and finalize compensation structures and benefits offerings.

• Act as a proactive partner to leadership, offering strategic input and taking initiative on key HR decisions.

• Supervise onboarding processes to ensure new hires are integrated effectively into the organization.

• Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, fostering a positive workplace environment.

• Evaluate and optimize HR systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements • Proven experience in a Human Resources managerial role, with a strong track record of leadership.

• In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws and employment regulations.

• Familiarity with payroll systems, with experience in Paylocity preferred but not required.

• Strong ability to take initiative and work independently as a strategic partner to leadership.

• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills, with a focus on building effective HR processes.

• Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement strategies.

• Proficiency in HRIS and other human resources management tools.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage employee relations effectively.
