    Description We are looking for a dedicated Property Front Office staff member to join a nonprofit organization in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As the first point of contact for residents and visitors, you will play a vital role in fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for an affordable housing community. This Contract to permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission of helping individuals transition to stable living.

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet residents and visitors with professionalism and provide assistance with inquiries or daily needs.

    • Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system and direct them to the appropriate departments.

    • Coordinate resident services such as package deliveries, transportation assistance, and access to shared spaces.

    • Promote community engagement by encouraging participation in activities and maintaining organized common areas.

    • Monitor building access points to ensure a safe and controlled entry process.

    • Address conflicts or incidents calmly and report any safety concerns to management.

    • Support the preparation of rooms for new residents and report maintenance needs promptly.

    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas, courtyards, and parking lots.

    • Facilitate communication between residents and internal teams to address their support needs.

    • Model respectful and collaborative behavior to reinforce a positive community atmosphere. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

    • Prior experience in receptionist duties, hospitality, or resident support is preferred.

    • Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and managing inbound calls is essential.

    • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

    • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving prolonged standing or walking.

    • Must obtain First Aid certification within 180 days of starting employment.
